Now here’s a great event that’s both fun and for a good cause! I will be selling my art and art prints (standard and embellished!) at the Ministry of Artistic Intent‘s Mission IV Benefit show. Proceeds will go toward giving teens low-cost art workshops in the summer. It’s a cause near and dear to my heart. Besides lots of art and art vendors, there will be live music, poetry readings, and more! Come on out and help a young person grow towards their dream! Here are the details:

What are embellished prints you ask? Oh just a little something I fell in love with lately. One of my only complaints about the prints is that you couldn’t see the sparkle of the iridescent pastels. Well lo and behold, some of the embellished prints will have the iridescent pastel added back on! So you get the best of both worlds: a high-quality but cost effective alternative to the original but with the same lovely sparkle and subtle effects! There are also other types of embellishing, depending on the type of print, such as gold leafing and acrylics. Embellished prints will be labeled as so. Seriously, you have to come on by to see these in person, and the show of course!
Oh yes, and all prints will be signed by ye olde moi (not even kidding about the olde part lately…)

The Ministry of Artistic Intent is a non-profit arts corporation whose mission is to aid artists in fulfilling creative goals. The MAI hosts a biweekly open mic series, an annual contest for poets, musicians and artists, multiple benefits a year raising funds that go directly back in to the arts community, and we hope, to also provide summer workshops for teens. The MAI would not be possible if not for the amazing artists who come to, perform at and fuel the intentions of the MAI.
