This gallery features work that is often started off in pencil/ink and colored digitally or is fully digital. Often this is comic-style but also encompasses realistic paintings.
For those new to the digital art world or who don’t know much about it, it is a medium unto itself and doesn’t necessarily make the art “easier” as is sometimes assumed, but is often faster than if the same were to be created traditionally. Digital art also has its own flavor and form and requires a mastery of the software tools just as traditional media requires mastery of the brush, chalk, or pencil.
My Ink/Digital work is divided into four categories:
- Fantasy/Sci-fi: Your standard fairies, dragons, elves, aliens, robots, etc.
- Character: Characters from my own fiction or authorized creations requested by authors for their own work.
- Portrait: You give me a picture, I give you a comic style rendering.
- Book Covers: Commissioned pieces for the bustling indie author scene. View the Book Cover Gallery here.
